2 english expressions

Hello,

I came across 2 expressions and couldn't realize what they mean. They can be found in two different songs.

1 - "charging from the gate" (Bob Seger's song, called "Like a Rock")

2 - "punch-bucket-shoe-wearing" (Oran 'Juice' Jones' song, called "The Rain")

This second expression is really unusual, I think. Couldn't find any references about it, besides this music I mentioned.

The whole sentence is "You gotta get on outta here with that alley-cat-coat-wearing, punch-bucket-shoe-wearing crumb cake I saw you with".

The closest thing I could find is the expression "to bucket punch". I found it on "Ur
