Essay & Composition Writing

1)I need a help to correct sentences on my travel diaries!!!

1
>>Since I hadn't record my life yesterday, I have to write this.

What have I done this day( had I done? have I done?)
-Bought 2 clothes at a nearby shopping center
-Took a flat white and a éclair at a dorm café (since I got a cold, she didn't catch up my words properly. or may be its because of my English ability I think (as I think is right? I think is right?)
-visited the Bentley library
-played a card game (If I played a one type of game and have played several games in it,
what is the correct sentence? play a card game? or play card games? // #2. and in this case,
I already know which card game that I'd played. So do I have to write a card game? or the card game?)

Yesterday I was going to spend a whole day in the library(I'm still confuse some of the word usage like in, at, on, over and so on.). Since I saw the WA library had shut it's door the day before yesterday, I just thought about trying different place to study. So I searched the word, 'library' at the Google map and took the nearest one from my residence. It was the Bentley library.
When I arrived to the library, there was a fine air conditioning system and several nice chairs and it makes me feel some comfortable feelings at the moment. *I also found a book: one of the series of dummies that contains the right usage of English essays. (what is the difference between I also found a book and I found a book as well?) Since there are such a nice summary of writing good essays soon I feel much better. However I've found that when the time I try to write something in English, I usually use words like 7-year-old girl. I've thought about this problem for several times. The conclusion is that I have less ability to make an English sentence compare than using Korean. One of the biggest problem is I'm always using same words repeatedly and it gives some childish feeling. And that's the reason why I decided to write a (is that okay if I put 'a'?) daily diary. It's seemed like a poon since when I was in a woofing farm, I usually write down (and what is the difference between write down and write?) a dairy daily diary. : )
To get a correction I will put this paragraph to English forum or III.

2.

Today I woke up at 3:40 early in the morning. After while I got up, I tried to remember the last evening. 'It was good.' I thought. I guess it's because of the dialogue that I involved in. Ever since I arrived in here I've always want to make some friends and relationship as well. However I haven't got any chances to it. But last night Jen, the one who lives in our share house started to conversation.
(*I'd like to find the most acceptable words: 1. open mouth first, 2. try to start a conversation, 3. urge to make a word, 4. speak up one's dialogue at first). We had talked about our daily life, family, age, what do we do when having free time for about a hour. Then, Nis and Arron arrived to the house. Everyone had played a card game for about 2 hours and it made me feel closer to other members of the residence. At the night time I first access to III Skype tutoring. However, the internet connection was very bad. The teacher that I choose lives in Canada, and I'm here at Australia. I thought that's the one of the reason why Skype call just stop all of a sudden. So I tried to find another tutor. This teacher lives in US. I hope this lesson goes well since I don't want to change my tutor ever again.

So this is the end of the story!
