Hi Hkqq, Yes, it means during that decade. It is pronounced "sixties", as you would pronounce the plural form if it were a noun. (ability, abilities)

Hi Sir/Madam, If I am refering to 2000 to 2009. Is it 2000s? Does it pronounce "two thousand"?

Hi hkqq,

We don't have a good way to say that yet. For now, you just have to say "the first decade of the 21st century" or something like that.

Because it's still 2008, we can say "this decade" or even "since the turn of the century."
