(10/4/2021) Many students find it difficult to concentrate or pay attention in school. What are the reasons? What could be done to solve this problem?

In today’s modern society, more and more students feel that they are difficult to focus when they are at school. Therefore, in this essay, I will show information about causes and ways to solve this complex problem of why people feel distracted even when they're at their school.

On the other hand, there are 2 main reasons why distraction is being a common trend in this day and age. Firstly, A major factor is compulsory subjects in the school which are very tiresome and complex. A case of point, students in Vietnam must learn and take the exam total of 12 subjects, however, their teachers teach too stereotypical and they always focus on theory lead to neglect practice. If people don't practice about their lesson, they will be difficult not to have deeper insight into major of subjects and students cannot apply ones for life. Even, there is a number of students who cannot fall behind with their studies to beget a significant gap in knowledge. People will feel wearisome when they listen to lesson of teacher but do not understand anything. After a long time, students are more and more tired and bored with studying. Another point to consider here that there is a common trend which students rush to extra classes because they want to study prior knowledge in school. This is a reason lead to people don't concentrate when teachers teach lessons in their school because they learned this lecture.

To address the underlying causes, I would propose two solutions. Firstly, teachers need to improve their teaching methods such as students should practice more, teaching subjects by mind maps and some games which correlate with lessons so on and so forth. This method will help to improve attention of students and their attitude towards studying, therefore, they can understand and keep up with their studies. Secondly, the government must strictly prohibit tutoring and learning activities and need to change teaching models to create exciting for students in learning. Although the state banned these activities, many extra classes have continued to teach illegally.

In conclusion, the tendency of students to lose focus at school stems from two main causes. However, this is still a problem that can be solved by the cooperation of individuals and the state.
