$100 per 45 minutes?

I know that

"I charge $100 per hour" is correct. or per day...

How about if my unit is based on 45 minutes, can I still use per?

Is it okay to say "I charge $100 per 45 minutes"?

But it sounds strange....

A bit, yes. Use "for", or make it $133.33 per hour.

I agree that it's too strange. I would not say that.

Suppose you're talking about giving a lesson. Let's say you teach people how to play the clarinet. Say

I charge $100 a lesson, and the lesson lasts 45 minutes.

Or

I charge $100 for a 4
