I looked up in the dictionary but have no idea about feed a cool , starve a fever

I saw the meaning of boarding school, too. But it didn't fit the context I've seen

I have no idea at 3). My teacher said yes whilst some others said no

4) although they have explained in the dictionary, but still have no effect on me
