1 sentence - is it correct, please?

Dear Teachers,

Could you let me know, please, if this sentence is correct:

Many poems of our country and of foreign ones…

I want to avoid using “countries” twice. Thank you.

I meant poems from the pen of poets of those countries. To finish the sentence:

Many poems of our country and of foreign ones have been inspired by a longing for far-away places.

Is the sentence okay? Thank you.

Yes, it's fine. But I would assume that "poems of our country" would be nationalistic poems.

Use "poets" instead of "poems."

Many poets, no matter what country they are from, have been inspired by a longing for far-away places.
