1 on 1 OR 1 to 1 meeting??

Dear all

I have to apologize for my rather poor English as I am from Denmark.

We had a small discussion today, is it called 1-on-1 OR 1-to-1 meetings???

Hope you can answer this. Thanks!

I think in that senarion they are interchangeable. but for example in mathematics you say the elements in set A have a one-to-one relation with elements in set B not one-on-one.

To the best of my knowledge, 1-on-1 is AmE, while 1-to-1 is BrE.
