Hello

. I am sponsoring a Filipino caregiver linving in Hong Kong. She is approved for her work permit and all else but no visa but I have to write a letter to get her to have her visa to Canada faster as they are being very slow. The following letter I have had help with by my family but I am still not sure if it is good enough. Please give me some good criticism for it. We want to give most emphasis on the necessity to have this worker with us now and not wait any longer because of our situation for need of a full time caregiver. Thank you. Her name is not Michelle Smith, but I am using it for example.
Dear Sir or Madam,
In regards to my sponsorship for Michelle Smith, I am requesting urgent action in her case to get her visa approved to come to Canada. My wife and I are in great need of a full time caregiver for our children. That is why we have sponsored Michelle to come to Canada as our Live-in Caregiver. Waiting for Michelle to come here, we have had to hire local temporary casual workers that are not always available each day we need them and we have to make sudden adjustments to our work schedules when they are not available. At times of caregiver shortage, one of us has to take a day off from work or shorten our work schedule to be with our children for those days.
It is imperative that Michelle's visa application be finalized and approved as soon as possible. We are hoping for her to be here to start work right away. Michelle's employment with us is a necessity. Her work experience and training far exceeds any of the local workers we have hired. We have to screen the local workers to hire them, but none of them has had much prior experience with child care. Michelle has all of the requirements to officially and legally work in Canada as a Live-in Caregiver.
Thank you for your perseverance in Michelle's case. We hope to see her as soon as possible to start her employment with us. She is already a valuable asset to our family.
Respectfully yours,
