Hahaha, Mr Micawber! Thanks. Unfortunately for me, regardless of modern or not most music makes me clap my hands over my ears. But listening to English speak is something opposite. How could it be said what that opposite is. Listening to some proper English people speak is melodic or musical to listen to?

That is amazing, because that's just what I feel about Indian English speakers! I would say that their speech has "a pleasant lilt to it".

Oh! But Mr Micawber, that is not to say at all that I don't like to listen to Canadian English! :) For me not so with Indian lilt (thanks). As far as possible I either clap my hands over my ears or if that is not polite, try to flex my ear muscles to go noiseless when I encounter most Indians speak. It is very different than how natives could try and make it so listenable or adorable -
