Hi,
I know that doctors go on ward rounds, but is it possible to say:
''There's a ward round going on right now and the doctor said they will release me once it's over. '' ?
This also brings me to my second question. Is it better to say 'he said they will release me once it's over' or 'he said they would release me once it was over'. I guess I can use 'will' since the fact of releasing me still holds true.

And when the ward round is not a regular one but it's more thorough, how would you call it? We have two types of ward rounds where I come from. One of them takes much longer and it's lead by the chief physician. It usually takes place three times a week. Is it called 'a big ward round' ?
