There are two types of people on an island. There are Truth-Tellers and there are Fakers. The truth-tellers always tell the truth and the fakers always lie. Person A walks up to a group of people (B and C). Person A does not know what type of person B and C are. One person of B and C is a truth teller and one is a Faker. What 1 question could person A ask to determine which is which?

He could ask either of them, "If I asked the other guy which tribe he belongs to, what would he say?" The person being asked belongs to the tribe he says the other guy will claim to belong to.
Alternatively, he could ask either of them "If I asked the other guy which tribe you belong to, what would he say?" The person being asked belongs to the tribe not named.

Ask them: "where does the sun rise?" The Faker will say: west. The Truth-teller will say: east. And you know where the sun rises, don't you?
