Hey guys,
I just have a couple of sentences here and it'd be great if you would just have a look at them and tell me if they're correct.
1)When I tuck a T-shirt in my jeans, how would I say that it keeps billowing out/slipping out from the jeans? I guess I can use 'billow' and 'slip' as well but are there other options? 'It keeps coming untucked' for instance? It sounds a bit clumsy though.
2)If you're making a spicy meal and you want the sauce to be a bit milder. You basically don't want the flavour to be so pungent. What word could I use if I wanted to say that I need it to be less spicy? I want to use the word 'flavour' in that sentence.
3)Do you still use the phrase 'run off a few copies' or would you simply say 'make a few copies'?
4)'He always runs up debts on his credit card'. 'He always runs up high bills on his credit card'. Are both correct?
Thank you.
