1. I spilled nail polish on the carpet. I tried to scrape it off but it (had) bolted (or dried, hardened) too quickly for me to do that. Now the carpet is a bit abrasive there.

2. How much do you estimate it at?(for instance a price for something) I'm not sure about the preposition 'at'.

Are these sentences correct?:) And one more thing, is it possible to change my username? Thank you for your help.

Thank you so much. I should have read it first before I posted it. 'For me to do that' is really a bit redundant here and it sounds weird as well.

Unfortunately, I didn't register via Facebook but I simply created an account here. I don't want to bother you with that. If it's not much of a problem, I'd change it to Anna20.
