What do you call it when a sales person is exaggerating about his/her items in the shop.
In my own language we literally call it "heating the mall".
What's this called in English?

If you mean "to try to sell an item by (falsly) advertising it as something really great (when you know it's just the opposite), then you can use **** off.

Thanks Ivan for the interesting word! Yes that's exactly what I mean by asking this question, but don't you also know of a name for this situation please? like if I tell someone: Don't fall for it, It's just a something.

Well, it is certainly a kind of fraud. I'm not aware of any special word for it.

Hi

It sounds to me like a rip-off or a con. Those are slang words that might be used in the UK situation
