Q: How long was the Egyptian year?
A:1. The Egyptian year was 360 days./A: 2.The Egyptian year was 360 days long.
Dear Grammarians, I have a problem in writing the answer to the above question. I would like to know if the adjective "long" is needed to put in the sentence like the A:2 above. Thank you in advance.
