Is "I dreamt last night"a correct sentence structure?

Top answer

It doesn't seem to be a very likely sentence, but it is possible. Usually, "dream" has "about" or "that" following it, but this is a possible sentence under certain circumstances.

Yes, the structure is fine.
It's understandable to me as a variant of "I had a dream last night", which is more natural to my ear.
