I lose Job 1 in April, so Job 1 stops paying me money.

I gain Job 2 in June, so Job 2 starts paying me.

The gap between me losing Job 1 and gaining Job 2 is roughly two months -- the length of time in which I am NOT getting paid.

If funds are provided to me via some other resource, then those funds can tide me over during this length of time. I am being provided money
