Thank you CJ.

What if it is a bomb-I am not sure with all the separate designations or we assume it's a bomb, is #1 totally wrong? How about #3?

And if possible, can you make a connection with 'which can later be expanded in greater detail' in terms of no article use?

onizo is #1 totally wrong?
Yes. "bomb" is a countable noun in the singular. Singular countable nouns must have an article.
onizoHow about #3?
Also wrong. A substance cannot be multiple objects.

Saying TNT is bombs is like saying Water is cups or Sugar is pancakes.

Some nouns could be both countable and uncountable. Then when you say 'use uncountable forms to mean general', what does it mean?

Without examples I don't know what you mean. Is this something from one of your books? What do they say there?

You know the video game Minecraft, right? You see lots of cubs of TNT. When you look at them, would you say TNTS or just TNT, and when you explain what TNT is on the scrreen as a bomb, which option would you go from my original post?

No. I'm not familiar with video games because I don't play them.

I have no idea what you're asking about. Countable nouns in the singular, whether 'bomb', or 'person', or 'TNT' (treated as countable — which I don't advise),

One more question Please.

'"less is more" his comments are thought...'
why is thought uncountable here? It could have been a thought or thoughts, right?

onizo'"less is more" his comments are thought...'
This doesn't make any sense to me. Isn't there more to this sentence?
