I have a question about the construction of the following sentence:
Not only will his reading skills improve, but also his writing skills will improve.
In the second sentence "but also..." is will necessary? It sounds repetitive to me but I have problems constructing sentences that have the "not only...." phrase.
Please let me know if my sentence is correct.
Top answer
You could delete "will improve", but not "will" alone.
