Which is correct?

"I thought you were interested in talking to me that I was."

"I thought you were interested in talking to me that I was interested in talking to you."

How would you guys say it?

Also,

I thought you were as interested in talking to me as I was (interested) in talking to you.

The second "interested" is optional and frequently omitted.
