Kindly correct the following conversation.

person 1: This weekend I went to a beach and enjoyed alot.

person 2: You would have called me. I have done nothing this weekend.
(or)

You should have called me. I have done nothing this weekend.

You could also say: This weekend I went to a beach and enjoyed myself a lot.


It's also possible to say 'the beach'. We think of this in the way we think of the seaside, the country, the mountains, etc.
