"Let's go get a beer."

Is this sentence correct? Is it possible to have two verbs in a sentence?

Top answer

It is correct in informal English as an abbreviated form of "Let's go and get a beer". To me, in the UK, the abbreviated pattern "go + verb" seems somewhat American.
