Hi,

What are the mistakes in these sentences? It is also possible that there isn't any mistake.

1) He told me he was attending the meeting tomorrow. (Correct? reported speech--> present continuous becomes past continuous. OR replace 'was' by 'would be'?)

2) 90. All participants at the sales training were asked to put their name card on their desk.

3) And might you go home before the meeting was over? (might is definitely wrong, but with what should I replace it?

4) I can’t understand why he went on to work for our competitor. (why he went working?)

5) Can’t you have them be patient a little longer?

6) What makes some prospects dislike some salesmen?

7) After a few minutes walk during the guided tour of the plant, they looked quite exhausted.

8) During a role-play the salesmen can use their imagination almost unlimited.

I don't think 'imagination' should be used twice here.

I like this better...

During role-play, the salesmen can use almost unlimited imagination.

An editing mistake, of course, and easily fixed.
