Dear Sir,This is to inform you that I supposed to join on 15th Augest after my vacation. Due to some personal matterers I would like to extend 2 more days with my vacation.I will return to work on 17th Augest. So kindly request to you to grant me 2 more days.

I disagree @MM. While making requests, shouldn't the person making the request be kind so as to have his request granted?
That is the reason why people normally write 'I kindly request you to grant me..' or 'I humbly request you to grant me..'

No, not at all. Try to exercise some logic: the requestor is asking for the kindness of the grantor, not announcing his own kindness!

Rakshit Sinhahat is the reason why people normally write 'I kindly request you to grant me..' or 'I humbly request you to grant me..'

Those are both Indian English and are not used in AmE or BrE. The first is illogical and wrong—as I have already attempted to explain—while the second expresses undue humility and borders on sycophancy in western Englishes.

Both phrasings are common or standard, I realize, in at least some Asian Englishes, but both should be avoided with western correspondents.
