Dear Sir:
I am writing to apply for the Master’s program in International Automotive Engineering.
I have completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering stream in May 2013, from Anna University, affiliated to AICTE. My degree focuses on the mechanisms behind machines, design of the mechanical components and analyzing the parts based on the force, act on them during operation. My interest for the bikes and cars has provoked me to select Automotive engineering as my course of study.
As an aspirant for joining Engineering, I chose mathematics and physics as the major subjects in my high school. I passed my senior secondary school with 94% in Mathematics and 87% in Physics and I gained an overall percentage of 89%, which has led my way to join bachelor of engineering with mechanical engineering as my major. I am proud to be ranked 1st in the entire college from this stream
Rather than knowing only the theoretical concepts, practical experience is much needed for pursuing a master degree. In order to widen my horizons in the field of design and also to develop knowledge in my field of interest, I am working as design engineer for the concern called XXXXXXXXXXXXX. I am going to complete my 10 months of work experience as a Design Engineer. When I worked as a design engineer, I found a bond between me and automobiles. I was fascinated to work on the design of automobile components using designing software like Unigraphics NX and Solid works. This has enriched my knowledge to an extent that I feel eager to explore them further.
Automotive Engineering is related to vehicular systems technology, design and development technology, production methods and maintenance. I am interested in studying the design and development of automotives relating with the modern technologies. . I am confident that your university stands out as a premier center of higher learning with a mission of pursuing excellence in education and research
With my solid foundation in engineering academics, I am confident that I have the skills, knowledge and contacts to pursue a master degree in an institution which is globally recognized for automotive studies. Thank you very much for considering my request. I look forward to your positive response.
