Hello all,

If she were to move to where I live, my life would be better

If I were to go to the cinema, I would call you to come with me

I was taught that were+to+v1 in if clauses means past tense(if she moved,if i went) . And a teacher told me that it means , If I had to, not If I v2. which is the correct information?
