For some reason we get this question every few weeks. In what country have you seen this? According to this thread it means 'prescriber', but the anonymous poster gave no evidence to support that statement, nor has it been subsequently confirmed independently.

The easiest way to know the answer is - Ask your doctor as to what exactly pbr stands for when you visit him/her next time. Otherwise provide additional information to come to a conclusion
1. Where are you from?
2. Is the doctor a Physician or a Surgeon? What specialty the doctor holds?
