Is this grammatically correct? what can I use instead of reflective attention in the following sentence.
Descriptive reflection involves identifying, describing and recognizing a situation or problem. In this stage, the teacher decides to focus his reflective attention on a particular aspect of his practice.

I would just say "the teacher decides to focus on one aspect of his practice." Reflective attention is pretty much another way of saying "focus."
