Over the last century the pace of change in the human beings’ lives has extremely increased.

Is the sentence above correct? I believe we should use comma after the phrase "Over the last century". If I am wrong, please explain me the sentence structure of the sentence above. Thank you in adv

It is not a clause. A clause includes a subject and a verb.
