Question no 1:I was told that the following sentence has been wrongly constructed, firstly every day must use sells (though in this context we are referring to a story in the past)

Secondly, that every day should be at the end of sentence, not in the beginning.

Every day Suzy's cousin sold newspapers in the square.

Q no 2: The man suddenly slid a slim camera from his pocket.

I was told 'slid' cannot use 'from', but only can use 'to'
