Hi friends!

What's the best verb tense:
a) We had a difficult decision between visiting Austria and Switzerland. Eventually we DECIDE to go to Austria.
or

b)We had a difficult decision between visiting Austria and Switzerland. Eventually we HAD DECIDED to go to Austria.
