Hello all, I hear ' how are you doing, what have you been up to, everytime in movies. What exactly do they mean? are they like ' how are things with you' or 'how is it going'?

Thank you for the answer, I always hear ' how do you like the pic'. I would say Do you like the pic or 'how do you find the pic'. Can you explain this too?

It all means the same. It's just a variation of saying it, often, there are many different expressions for the same meaning

Something to add, there is a little difference between "do you like" and "how do you like", because the first can be answered with yes/no and the second one requires a more comprehensive answer
