Can someone help me with the following sentence it has two ands in it and it doesn't look proper to me? The battle consisted of eight attacks carried through horrendous rain and over grounds that were soaked and muddy.

Top answer

That use of "carry" is archaic. Today it's "carry out". The two ands are fine.
