Hi everybody. I have a doubt regarding present perfect and present perfect continuous tenses.
Usually, present perfect tense can be used in place of present perfect continuous tense and vice versa.
As in : George has been working here for 5 years. George has worked here for 5 years.(and he continues to..)
Is it possible to use present perfect continuous tense to rewrite a sentence which has present perfect tense, without changing the exact meaning of the sentence.
E.g.: Emma has been married to John for 3 years. He has written 3 novels since 1999.
Can we write such sentences using present perfect continuous to express the same meaning.
Thank you all.

It all depends on the verb. These are equivalent: He has lived here for three years. He has been living here for three years.
