Hi! everyone.Could you tell me ,whether this sentence is correct?Google has said before they didn't use Clang and LLVM because of performance issues.
I have one more question,do we use a negative sentence after before I can't understand why wasn't this( in the above sentence) said-:Google had said before they used Clang.........

Hi, I am not very sure if my answer can help, but this is my opinion: -Google have said before that they didn't use Clang and LLVM because of performance issues. Because Google is also a company, many people work in it, so it is a Collective Noun, and we use a Collective Noun as a plural one. I think this sentence is different from the situation we are talking about (no using a negative sentence after before ).
