It seems correct to me to say, "The picture displays beautifully on the computer monitor." However, I have been unable to verify that the above usage is correct. Any insights?
It seems to me that to say instead, "The picture is displayed beautifully on the computer monitor," is undesirable. This is passive voice, which I try to avoid as much as possible.
