What is the antonym for Product Major Version

I bumped into the following problem:

Say, a new version of a software has been released. It's version 1.0. We want to offer the customers, who will purchase version 1.0 free upgrades (or updates?) within the major version, in orther words, versions 1.2, 1.5, 1.5.6 and anything up to version 2.0 are free. What is the word combination for this Upgrade within major version? Minor version update? Or is there a term for it?

'Minor version update' sounds OK as computer jargon. For nicer English, can you just say 'a minor update'?
