Do you say, "my purse is missing?" Or my purse "went missing" or is gone missing?

Hi,

Do you say, "my purse is missing?" Or my purse "went missing" or is has gone missing?

The verb form 'go missing', used in various tenses as above, is very common.

However, note that it is pretty informal, almost slang. If you want to speak more carefully, describe what happened by saying 'I lost my purse.'
After you lose it, you
