3. The answer to this should be (a).
A principle is a fundamental concept or doctrine. (Ex: The principle of equal rights is important to our modern-day society.)
A principal, on the other hand, is either a person in a position of authority (usually at a school) or the original amount of a debt before interest.
Because the question talks about paying interest, you can tell that they want the financial meaning of the word "principal"; therefore, "principle" is incorrect.

6. The correct answer is (d).
"Irregardless" is not actually a proper word. It is just a silly word invented by illiterate people who didn't understand that "regardless" means the same thing. So don't ever use it.
Also, to differ is to be different from something. To "defer" is to someone is to submit your will to his, i.e., to recognise that another person has more authority than you do.
You can tell that you need to use "defer" instead of "differ" because, while you defer to someone, you differ from someone. So the preposition lets you know the right answer.

9. I don't know the answer to this question. I don't write business letters. You'll have to ask someone else.

I can't help you with Part 2, either. Again, I don't know this sort of thing. I don't work in a business. Perhaps somebody else can help you with that section.

3 is a comma spice
4 is correct
I don't know about 1.
I know it's not a. A fragment is a part of a sentence, and does not have an independent clause.
I think it would be either a misplaced part, or a dangler. I would probably choose dangler.
If it were a misplaced part, you could move the 2nd part of the sentence around and it would make sense. Can you do this with this sentence.
If you get the answer, let me know, I am interested in this one.
