Though mind and soul may be torn, With all but hate lost and gone; Although the thought may be scorned, And reality is twisted and mourned; Even if imagination prowls and stalks, Even if malice corrupts and distorts;
The flames of innocence shall be reborn, With each passing of old and worn; The body will be renewed, And the joys be restored;
