Redeemer

Though mind and soul may be torn,
With all but hate lost and gone;
Although the thought may be scorned,
And reality is twisted and mourned;
Even if imagination prowls and stalks,
Even if malice corrupts and distorts;

The flames of innocence shall be reborn,
With each passing of old and worn;
The body will be renewed,
And the joys be restored;

For each death there is life,
For each darkness there is light;
Repeating the cycle,
The power of eternity;

But when all light is extinguished,
Then the savior will diminish;
Revealing the true meaning,
Acknowledging the calling;
Only then will the masses unite,
To fight the cause of eternity’s plight.
