Preposition: by

hi,

If I want to change the sentence, "Alex can make anything possible." to passive:

"Anything is possible by Alex."
"Anything can be made possible by Alex."

Is the first one wrong? Can anyone lend a hand?

Thanks!

Your second choice is the standard way to make a passive. I don't know why you are even considering the first.
(Yes, it's wrong.)
Just switch the positions of subject and object, make the verb passive in form, and add "by" in front of the word that was the subject of the original sentence.

Alex | can make possible | anything
anything | can be made

Thank you Nona and CJ.

When I saw someone using the first sentence, I was reminded by the flexibility of English Emotion: smile
