Pl. clear my doubt

1)MARY ALWAYS LEAVES HOME AT 8CLOCK BUT TODAY IS AN EXCEPTION SHE'S IS GOING LATE.

2)YOU MUST REPORT HERE EVERY TUESDAY WITH OUT EXCEPTION.

3)WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE WEATHER IT WAS A PERFECT HOLIDAY.

IN THIS ABOVE SENTENCES IAM NOT ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE WORD EXCEPTION.
PL. TELL ME WHAT IT STATES IN EACH OF THE SENTENCES.
