Off of

Is there anyone out there who believes that 'off of' is correct?

Take the sentence, "I can't take my eyes off of you" as an example.

It would be better if you use this sentence like this:"I can't take my eyes off you". Now wait for any other who knows it better and explains it with some examples.

Its kinda weird you know. The word "of" is redundant to the sentence; you can do without it.
But adding "of" in the sentence still makes sense though, so i guess that they both can be used.

Use it all the time. Mostly use the slang "offa" like "get offa me" (like "get outta here").

It is correct but awkward.
