New York ( in darkness)
New York
Yellowish- black districts, boxes as homes,
Granny on a bike in the Central Park with a phone,
Tired safety islands on the Broadway at dawn,
Among thousand people in a McDonald’s alone.
Only the night crawlers are like the ones back home,
This black saxophonist could be Abel?
Kind drug dealer picks me up as I fall,
Here’s Beijing,. Rome. Paris. Blackout in Babel.
