How the religions are formed?

... and also why do we have so many religions formed today. Which is the first one to form.
Is it the god created this religion?

I think religions are an asnwer to human spiritual needs. Not everybody needs a creed but a lot of people do. One of the members here (kit) said a nice thing about religions, that they offer a network of support for those who belive in it.

It must be the nature. But I wounder how the worshiping has become habit to human.
How did they started practicing it, and why did they felt to do it.
