Hope and wish (Guest:Abu Sameer)

What are the differences between hope and wish. Which is correct I wish so or I hope so and why? ( Would you mind to recomand a book to read in this matter)

Top answer

If I have been rude, I might wish I never had.

00means we say 'i wish' when we want something that is less realistic. 02br
00we say 'i hope' which is more possible and we hope for future. while we can use wish in future and past. 02br
