When I am leaving, someone says to me "have a good one"

what does have a good one mean?

I suppose 'Have a good one' began as meaning 'Have a good day'.

However, I think it's one of those slightly lazy, slightly irritating phrases that is well on its way to losing any real meaning. People who say it seem to just mean 'Good-bye', and don't usually seem to give what they are saying much real thought. The recipient -- assuming he cares at all, which he may not -- i
