HAND AND FOOT

Dear Teachers,

1. Your act last night really hurt me, you should have known how to respect me.

- Is this natural?

2. - We are contemplating marriage.

- We are planning for marriage.

- Are these the same meaning?

3. He treats me wonderfully, and waits on me hand and foot.

- What does "waits on me hand and foot" mean here?

4. She is really concerned because there are several PFAs on him.

- What does "PFAs" mean?

5. I have been friends with this guy for eight years.

- I think "a friend" is better than "friends" here, right?

Thanks very much to Teachers,

Stevenukd.
