Hallucination

Hi,

Could anyone please explain me the pathophysiology of visual, auditory, tactile, gustatory and olfactory hallucinations exoerienced by a terminally ill patient.

When a person is at a terminal stage, he/she is experiencing imbalance in his/her body. Imbalance affects the brain's functions and causes abnomal quantity of certain neurochemistries.This results in hallucination and other sensors and behavior problems.
